Humanity where are you? Introduction to a Christian Worldview

September 18, 2012

Please watch the video below

  1. Rationalism — the dominance of universal reason
  2. Individualism — the dominance of individuality
  3. Historicism  — the dominance of ‘my’ or ‘our’ story

B.  A Christian Worldview

  1. The Trinitarian covenantal basis –  alternative to either seeing God as pure intellect or God as pure will (not addressed in the video).
  2. The covenants of creation, redemption and transformation —  the work of Father, Son and Holy Spirit distinctively and together.
  3. Humanity as created in God’s image, fallen, redeemed and made holy —  the heart as central to who we are before God.

4. Christian Peacebuilding: Theory and Practice

5. Vocational workshops allowing Christians to reflect systematically on the way God is calling each of us  in all walks of life — either to help those attending them to reflect on their current situation or to explore new directions.

In due course these can also be made available as distance learning modules.

This project is at an experimental stage to gauge interest and to stimulate further development.  To find out more, please contact Jeremy Ive
